An 80-year-old male with multiple comorbidities, including ESRD on HD, severe PVD, and CHF, presented with dry gangrene and osteomyelitis following a lanced blister. After an endovascular revascularization was completed, the patient underwent surgical debridement and a forefoot amputation. 

During the procedure, STRAVIX Meshed Tissue was implanted beneath the TMA flap. A separate dorsal wound was treated with STRAVIX Meshed Tissue placed under NPWT, set to 125mmHg continuous therapy. On POD #4, the NPWT was removed, revealing viable TMA flaps. By the 10-day post-op visit, the dorsal wound base was highly granular, showing rapid integration of the tissue and complete granulation over exposed bone and tendon. The patient, receiving vancomycin for MRSA osteomyelitis, is progressing and will receive an STSG for final wound closure.

A 46-year-old healthy male presented with an acute, complete rupture of the Achilles tendon, including a palpable defect, sustained while playing soccer. 

The patient underwent an end-to-end tendon repair, which was augmented by wrapping the repair site with STRAVIX PL Tissue. The post-operative course was characterized by minimal pain and edema, with no incisional complications or adhesions. 

The patient advanced to weight-bearing in a CAM boot at 4 weeks and progressed to regular shoes as tolerated at 6 weeks. He returned to work at 6 weeks and resumed exercise at 8 weeks.
